About Pro Horticulture

Pro Horticulture was started by Steve Gibson to work with horticultural businesses from those starting up to the established …… with the simple aim of making their businesses grow – no pun intended!

Steve has extensive experience, starting as a groundsman for a local authority – more years back than he would care to remember! He then became Head Gardener at the renowned Kiftsgate Court in Gloucestershire.

After attending Cannington Horticultural College, in Somerset, he joined Hillier Nurseries sales team. Then, to Wyevale Nurseries as Sales and Marketing Manager.

In 1997 he founded Start Business, a training organisation specialising in helping people to become Self-employed. Since then he has worked with hundreds of start-ups. Because of his background he has a close empathy with those setting up in the horticultural sector.

Steve is also a published author on small business topics.
