Specialist Workshops for the

Professional Horticulturalist

(As we are all busy now - workshops will resume in the winter - for Fact Sheets to help you set up a horticultural business CLICK HERE)

Covering sector focused topics to help make your business stand out from the crowd.

What is it that makes one landscaper succeed in business and another fail? Both may have the practical skills but the one that struggles may have poor business skills -or can’t see the wood for the trees!

pH workshops are full of common sense, practical advice and tips to make your horticultural business a success and grow - sorry couldn’t resist the pun!

The workshops are held in a scenic location at Occombe Farm, Torbay, South Devon. The building used is a unique, low carbon straw bale building. Occombe Farm is an organic farm on the edge of Paignton, it has an easy-access nature trail, award-winning farm shop and cafe (lunch is provided each day) featuring the best of local food, together with an in-house traditional butchery and organic artisan bakery. There is ample parking. Why not make your visit to us a short break? For local accommodation - follow this link.

Terms and Conditions

Charges and Payment

Payment is required in full prior to the event. Invoices can be raised on request.

If You Have To Cancel

Places on pH courses are limited and we often have waiting lists. We therefore ask that you let us know as soon as possible if you wish to cancel a booking. Any cancellation must be made in writing or by email. Cancellations must be made within 14 days in order for refunds to be available.  We regret that we have to do this, as all bookings involve administrative costs and it is difficult to fill spaces made vacant by late cancellations.

Cancellation and Variation of Events                                                                                           pH reserves the right to change advertised details of training events. If we have to cancel a course, we will inform all participants at least two weeks before the course is due to take place.  We will reimburse all course fees paid, but we are unable to compensate for any other costs incurred, such as accommodation.

If we have to change the dates of a course, you may request a full refund if the new dates are not convenient.
